The name "PoBoy" was originally founded by Jimmy and Bonnie Ramer in 1985. The name "PoBoy" did not derive from the traditionally known sandwich from Louisiana. The meaning of the word "PoBoy" to our company, derives from Jimmy's persistence with his passion of self-gratification to helping others and always remembering the roots in which he was raised.
